The #1 rule for us runners is that you are only to increase distance or intensity - pick one! If you choose distance you should only increase it by 10%
That means if last week you ran 5km and you want to increase your distance next week, you shouldn't run further than 5.5km! 🫶🏽
Your body is a great indicator of whether you need to ease off a little bit. If your joints are sore after every run, it's likely your body telling you to take your foot off the accelerator 🏃♀️
