2023 has a good ring to it, I reckon. Hey Team, for the first weekly reminder of the year. We wanted to start it off by reminding you that it's a fresh start. So whatever last year looked like to you, whether it was a hard year and you ready for a reset or you had an amazing year and you're wanting to level up, this is the time to reflect and think about what you want to do in the year ahead.

One of the most searched terms last year was “How can I change my life?” And I think what people were doing in 2022 is after COVID, everyone wanted to do something different. Everyone wanted to explore different passions, different careers, and different life choices. I feel like now is the time where we can actually experiment, even further because the world is opening up,

Everything's kind of going back to a new normal and it's time to experience life to its fullest. Whatever the next year looks like for you here are some tips to get you started on your new journey forward and starting with the obvious one, which is goal setting. Since it's January, I know you're probably sick of hearing it already, but it is the perfect time to set some new goals.

An entire year has just gone by and you would have done a bunch of things. It's a great time to reflect on what you liked about it, what you could have done better, and where you want to go in the next 12 months. Set different goals for different areas of your life, but have one major goal that you're going to work towards and you're going to commit to.

If you're more of a visual person, definitely put your ideas onto a vision board. That always helps me to stay on track and keep me inspired. Another thing that I like to do in the New Year is to clear out space, whether it's online and digitally on your phone or it's in your physical space. So your wardrobes, your pantry, whatever it is, clear everything out.

Make space for new things to come in. If you've got a little bit of time on your hands or you're feeling a little bit creative and curious, I would encourage you to start a new hobby, which could even be joining a club or just getting creative. It can even be starting a new routine, like going to the gym.

Something I think that should be on everyone's list is to get healthy. The New Year is a fresh start and it's a perfect time to set your health goals and just go with the flow. You've got a little bit of momentum after the New Year, so if you don't want to eat as much junk as you did last year, then commit to it and start off by just going one month on time.

This year I personally want to run a marathon. So health is going to be a major priority for me. And the last thing is to reconnect with other people. Reach out to your family and your friends and make plans with them. Things can get very busy over the holiday period, but now that the energy has subsided after Christmas t’s a great time to reach out and make some regular catch ups happen with friends too.

I know I'm personally pretty bad at making plans, but I would like to make some regular plans with my friends so that we can catch up at least once a month. Let me know in the comments what you're doing to start your new year off, fresh. I'd love to hear and I'm excited to spend the next year with all of the Team here on the TeamTANDA App!

Thanks for watching and Happy New Year, Team.
Something I love about New Year is having a clean slate and fresh diary to plan out the year.
Whatever happened in 2022 is behind you, so if you had an awful year, this is a perfect time for a reset. If you had a great year, then it’s the perfect time to review & level up again!
Kick things off in January with some of the ideas below to get you started:
1. Set new goals: Take some time to think about what you want to achieve in the new year. This could be related to your career, relationships, health, or personal development. Write down your goals and make a plan to achieve them.
We did a Private Livestream on this not long ago, so if you are a TeamMate, check it out!
2. Declutter and organise: A cluttered space can lead to a cluttered mind. Take some time to go through your living space and get rid of anything that you no longer need or use. Let’s all let go of some old clothes that sit in the closet all year round!
3. Start a new hobby or activity: Trying something new can be a great way to challenge yourself and learn something new. Alessia recently started Pottery and has been loving it, but it doesn't have to be creative, it can be a sport, joining a club or adding something new to your routine.
4. Get healthy: Use the momentum of the New Year to make a commitment to taking better care of your physical and mental health. This could mean eating healthier, exercising more, or finding ways to manage stress. For me, I’m committing to running a marathon this year…. Wish me luck!!
5. Re-connect with others: Everyone gets super busy over the holidays, so once the mayhem subsides, reach out to some friends and fam to catch up with. Maybe even make it a regular thing!
Sending you all love & strength for the year ahead, excited to spend another 365 days with you all!
